It's been a long slog but I finally got a call from my shop today, the Barracuda is finished except for the transmission line that runs from the throwout bearing to the master cylinder. I also finally got the correct part ordered from Keisler today and it's supposed to be here by next Tuesday (March 30) so I can drop it off Wed and my Barracuda should be done by the first week of April. Here's all that was done, hope to post details over the next few weeks as I have time to write:

• Replace trunk and door locks, all keyed the same
• Repair/replace trunk hinge pins
• Replace original 273 with a hopped up Mopar 318
• Replaced stocke exhaust manifolds with TTI headers
• Replace 904 automatic trans with a Keisler 5 speed kit

The timing is perfect since my wife's car just died. I'm not going to use the Barracuda as a daily driver but at least it gives us an extra vehicle to use until we find a replacement for my wife's car. I SO can't wait to drive this. I'm anxious to see how the 318 runs compared to other Mopars I've driven in the past and also my 68 Camaro. I sold the Camaro to a friend so I can race the Barracuda against it, that should be fun too.
