I've decided it's about time to start collecting parts for a nice Slant Six to put in my Valiant. It looks from here like parts are starting to become unavailable. Many of the sites that were listing Slant Six parts as "in stock" just a year ago are no showing them as out of stock or not listing them at all. Offenhauser dual 1-bbl manifolds for the Slant Six are still available, but the 4 barrel Slant Six manifold is out of production. The Offenhauser cast aluminum valve cover for the Slant Six is also still available, but I suspect out of production as well. I found a vendor that had one, but they said they'd have to polish it before sending it to me.
