It looks like I'm going to get to keep my job for at least another year, so I'm going to move forward with the engine for my Barracuda. I talked it over with my wife this week, and despite her previous reservations, she's not going to make me get a crappy crate engine.
I've pretty much settled on a 360. Modifications will include forged steel crank, H-beam rods, forged pistons (10.4 c.r.), ported Edelbrock cylinder heads, Performer RPM Air Gap manifold, and TTI headers. The only piece I haven't decided on is the cam. I like the specs of the Lunati Voodoo 268, but my engine builder likes to use Erson cams. I'll just have to wait and see. As soon as I get my tax refund I can start. This might actualyy be running before the end of summer.
